Scott T. Anderson is a founding shareholder of Rupp, Anderson, Squires & Waldspurger, P.A. and senior litigator at the firm. Scott has practiced law for over 35 years, and has spent the last 28 years representing municipal entities of all types throughout the State of Minnesota. Scott’s primary client base consists of counties. Scott has decades of experience in the areas of municipal powers and duties, data privacy and open meeting law, labor and employment law, and general civil litigation in state and federal court with an emphasis on land use, employment law, constitutional law, discrimination and police misconduct litigation. He is known throughout the State for his extensive experience in land use litigation and representing counties in high profile litigation, including zoning, environmental issues, and constitutional claims. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota in 1981 and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law in 1984.
